Through evidence-based lifestyle medicine (sleep, stress management, nutrition, movement, and more), Melyssa coaches busy humans to strengthen their well-being in sustainable, realistic ways! These small, consistent shifts empower veterinary professionals to improve health, enhance resilience, and optimize performance to continue providing high-quality care to their community’s pets while strengthening the human-animal bond.
As the author of Healthy Living Doesn’t Have to SUCK and with a previous career in marine mammal training, Melyssa bridges behavior science with the day-to-day realities of veterinary work. Her community of veterinary change makers are referred to as Veterinary Well-Being Buddies to honor the legacy of Melyssa’s own dog, Buddy, and inspire a movement of bringing lifestyle medicine to veterinary medicine.
